Existing snow-production solutions require sub-zero air temperatures. Being dependent on climatic conditions -especially at the beginning and end of the ski and snowboard season - results in unstable revenues from slope closures.

Superior Solution
IDE’s All Weather Snowmaker is superior to the conventional snow gun, and not limited to cold temperatures. The All Weather Snowmaker can be used at all ambient temperatures and weather / wind conditions. It ensures full operation during warm spells and supplements natural snowfall accumulation.
Backed by proven technology
The All Weather Snowmaker is based on proprietary Vacuum Ice Machine (VIM) based on vacuum evaporation to generate snow. This ecological and economical technology uses water as a refrigerant. Inside the VIM, a high vacuum induces the phenomenon of the triple point of water, where vapor, liquid and ice coexist. Some of the water evaporates, while the remaining water freezes. Ice-water slurry is formed and pumped out of the VIM into a snow concentrator that separates the water from the snow crystals and extracts high grade snow.
