SUFAG: SUCCESS celebrated with elegant festivity

SUFAG celebrated its 25th anniversary at the TechnicalMuseum in Vienna on July 4, 2008.

The story of success of the SUFAG company from Kennelbach near Bregenz started in the year 1983. Snowmaking business - an idea of a secure future.

Innovation as a factor of success is requested within the company. Today, the enterprise SNOWNET Group is delivering snowmaking machines to the whole world and is proud of its 38 representative agencies worldwide.

On the occasion of its anniversary at the TechnicalMuseum in Vienna, Mr. Bernd-Volker Blomberg (Dipl. Eng.), founder and majority shareholder, handed over to the director of the TechnicalMuseum, Dr. Gabriele Zuna-Kratky, a LINDE-snowmaking machine, born in 1973. The Linde machine was given to the museum as a gift and will constantly be present at current events.

An illustrious guest list - Dr. Erik Wolf, Cable Cars Association, General Manager Mr. Wolfgang Habersatter from the Reiteralm ski area, General Manager Mr. Karl Schmidhofer from Kreischberg, Swedish Embassy in Vienna - amongst many others – were able to convince themselves that, between 1973 and 2008, even with different outfits, both snowmaking machines were and are technically well-engineered. LINDE + SUPER SILENT, highly present at the TechnicalMuseum.

After the handing over of the LINDE machine, Dr. Erik Wolf from the Trade Association spoke in front of approx. 100 guests about the significance of snowmaking for the cable car business! The speech was also a THANK YOU to SUFAG for the decade-long fair collaboration with the cable car economy.

Then the executive director Mr. Anders Rydelius presented the "25 years" story of success and afterwards all guests were invited to an amazing buffet.

Within the scope of this special event, all staff members and representatives were invited to Vienna for 3 days in order for the company to express its THANKS, because only through staff loyalty is such progress possible!
