Further strong investment in the ski-region of Dachstein-West (Gosau-Russbach-Annaberg).

The Dachstein Tourismus AG. - Gosauer Bergbahnen - are building two new ropeways in the Dachstein-West ski region. 13 million Euros of funding are available in this second step of the investment plan. 2,2 million Euros were invested in the improvement of pistes and snow-making machines last year alone.

The new 8 seater gondola Panorama-Jet-Zwieselalm guarantees swift and comfortable transportation to the ski region of Zwieselalm. On the Hornspitz the new 6 seater Hornspitz-EXPRESS II will replace the outdated t-bars. The appliance of the new construction is planned for the 3rd of December, 2004. The opening will be part of the Dachstein-West winter spectacle on the 16th of January, 2005.

Further development of the Horspitz II-piste, as well as new snow-making-machines are planned in 2005.
