    -  6-seater chairlift Eggalm-Nord with Bubbles as substitute for the 2-man chairlift.

Manufacturer ropeway-technology: Doppelmayr
Manufacturer electrical-technology: Siemens

The ropeway is exlusively for the transportation of skiers and other winter-sports-persons to the ski region of Eggalm and is a vital conveyor of guests from the ski- and glacier region of Zillertal 3000. With a total budget of 5,75 million Euros the ropeway will be completely reconstructed on the same marked-out route. The base station will be situated on the opposite side of lake Tor, in order to accomodate for winter sportsmen from the Rastkogel-region, who until now have been without transportation to the top of the mountain. A 12 metre wide and 40 metre long ski-bridge will connect the existing piste with the new base station. The base station is home to 90 lifts, all with weather protecting shields and cushioned with black leather seats. The summit station will be situated approximately 80 metres higher, in order to provide a more convenient connection to the Beil-piste. The existing midway entry and exit point will be completely removed. This same fate awaits the building of the top station. The lower main station with its toilet facilities will be left in place but reconstructed to a fire-proof building. The construction of a mandatory avalanche protector, apporximately 100 metres long and situated above the summit station started in April of this year.
