New chairlift, New conveyor lift - Hyland continues its ongoing commitment of offering a great guest experience with the installation of a new quad chair lift, which replaces a triple chair servicing the more difficult runs of the ski area. Hyland also is expanding and adding a new conveyor lift to the "Training Zone," the learn-to-ski and ride portion of the ski area. The newly expanded area and lift will give those just starting out a separate area to learn and enjoy winter sports.
Outside operations staff at Hyland have been very busy during the summer designing and building new rails and boxes for Hyland's acclaimed terrain park. The planned addition of a new snow grooming vehicle, specifically designed for terrain park construction and grooming, allows Hyland to stay on the cutting edge of creating impressive snow features that often set the "standard" for terrain parks in the Midwest.
