Ischgl: Investments for the 2004/05 winter

• 6-seater chairlift "Nachtweide"

The planned facilities are situated in the centre of the skiregion and encompass a vast practice area. This will further relieve the heavily used facilities and pistes in the vicinity of the Idalpe. The low average slope gradient of 22 % is very well suited for beginners and less able skiers.

The base station, 2089 m high, is situated in the region of the access riad Höllkar, the so called "Nachtweide". The facility can be seen as a means of transporting guests back from the Höllkar.

The summit station is at the same altitude as the Sonnenlift, 2434 m. The axis has been replaced by 30 minutes in the direction of the mountain. The length of the lift is 1645 m, the height difference 357 m. The transport capability is 2400 persons/h with a drive speed of 4,5 m/s.

The underground storage space of the base station will act as a garage for the chairlifts.
