A major on-mountain activity center at the top of the gondola includes a
beginner’s park with a six-acre protected learning area on gentle terrain. The
mid-mountain location gives beginning skiers and snowboarders the opportunity to
ride the gondola and experience fabulous views. The beginner’s park includes a
detachable quad chairlift and surface lift to help make learning a new sport
much easier. If their skills haven't progressed far enough to ski or ride down
the easy green trail from Elk Camp, the gondola is available to take them down
