Canadian Resort Cxpects Big Things From Travel-Focused CRM and Email Marketing Automation
STOWE, Vt.,— Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s new Director of Marketing has decided to bring the revenue-generating capabilities of Inntopia Marketing Cloud to the Canadian ski resort.
British Columbia’s Revelstoke Mountain Resort opened in 2007 and boasts the longest vertical drop of any ski area in North America. Ten years later, management has its sights set on significantly growing the resort’s market share.
“We want to get to the point where data is really driving our marketing,” said Revelstoke Director of Marketing Kevin Manuel. “I’ve seen first-hand how effective that can be.”
Manuel, who previously oversaw email marketing at Whistler-Blackcomb, said he chose Inntopia because it will allow his team to get up and running quickly.
Inntopia Marketing Cloud, known as the CRM for resorts, will connect directly to Revelstoke’s RTP servers, enabling the resort’s marketers to see and analyze the ticketing and season pass revenue generated by each campaign and each guest.
The resort will use the system to design automated campaigns that target the guests most likely to purchase at any given time. Using personalized messaging based on a centralized, de-duplicated, and sanitized guest database unleashes the power of data previously locked within RTP, the ticketing and point-of-sale system in use at Revelstoke.
Inntopia’s team of marketing experts has already begun working on ideas for Revelstoke’s marketing program, and looks forward to collaborating with Manuel and his staff.
