Prinoth: Live performance on the Nordkette for the presentation of the „BEAST“

An international audience of about 600 people has arrived on Friday, 27 March 2009 on the Seegrube, Innsbruck, to be part of the presentation of the PRINOTH BEAST, the biggest and strongest snow groomer in the world.

For the market launch of the "BEAST", the biggest and most powerful snow groomer in the world, PRINOTH has commissioned the artists' network "Lawine Torrèn" with the production of a science-thriller. Director Hubert Lepka has recreated the fairy tale of "The Beauty and the Beast", putting it in a contemporary setting on a high alpine stage, with snow groomers, a helicopter and the Nordketten funicular as protagonists.

With a width of 7,25 meters and with ist 527 HP the BEAST, designed by Pininfarina, opens a new dimension in the world of snow groomers. “The Beast is more efficient and has superior climbing and pushing capabilities than any other snow groomer”, says Werner Amort, president of PRINOTH.

Michael Seeber, president of LEITNER TECHNOLGIES: „This symbiosis of technology and art underlines once more our company philosophy.“

The live performance at 6:45 p.m. was followed by a gathering in the restaurant Seegrube.

Another spectacular event took place on Saturday: the BEAST DAY. Over 400 groomer drivers and PRINOTH collaborators enjoyed a very diversified day on the Seegrube with friends and family. The participants were thrilled by the BEAST and took this unique opportunity to ride in it. The moderator Siliva Fontanive and DJ La Turn entertained throughout the day. At the end of the day Super G world champion, Patrick Staudacher handed over the prices to the happy winners of the particular challenges. A truly successful event!

The BEAST – The secret has been disclosed.

With the introduction of the BEAST, PRINOTH has established a completely new market segment. More efficient and economical piste grooming will be possible than ever before. The efficiency, its width, the driving comfort and the unmatched piste quality will impress our costumers in the long run. With the BEAST, PRINOTH is opening up a new dimension in piste grooming. The central argument here is the size of the area groomed per hour and thus the grooming costs

With the BEAST, PRINOTH has succeeded in providing customers with new potential in piste grooming. In the next few weeks, the BEAST will go on demo tour in the Alps and in Scandinavia. The BEAST will also be presented on the occasion of the INTERALPIN, which will take place in Innsbruck from April 22-24, 2009.
