FREY AG Stans delivers Electrical System to the largest Funicular

Ocean Park Hong Kong is situated at the gates to Hong Kong, near Aberdeen.This park provides international flair and many attractions. From breathtaking roller coasters to a phantastic aquarium and great dolphin shows, plenty of entertainement is offered for local families as well as for international customers. With the newly constructed Ocean Express, customers access the center of the park from the main entrance in the south. The new Ocean Express carries 400 passengers per train. Since opening in July 2009 the funicular run over 17’000 trips.

  • Remote Supervision System: inductive/capacitive via induction loop and isolated haul rope/ counter rope

  • Control and Software: programmable safety controller PSS with PC info system Visinfo3
  • Standards and Codes: The whole electrical system complies to CEN Standard and  has been tested and certified by TUeV Sued.
