Teufelberger-Redaelli Redmont® Dual Core Rope for the New Cable Car 10-MGD Fortini–Pradalago in the Madonna di Campiglio ski area

One of the new crown jewels of the Dolomites is the new 10-MGD Fortini–Pradalago cable car. It replaces the former four-seater chairlift built at the beginning of the new millennium and is capable of meeting the intense traffic in that part of the ski area, thus redesigning the entire Fortini–Grostč sky area.

This latest-generation of 10-passenger Doppelmayr D-line gondola has a low energy impact, is capable of ensuring limited noise emissions, lower vibrations and improved performance. It is 2,432-meter long and covers a vertical drop of 456 meters. In terms of transport capacity, it can carry up to 3,600 passengers/hour at a speed of 6 meters per second.

Certainly, this state-of-the-art Redmont® Dual Core rope by Teufelberger-Redaelli, with a 52 mm diameter and weighing 56 net tonnes, is a perfect fit for this new cable car. The combination of the classic SFC core with plastic coating, which ensures greater stability over time, makes this ropeway rope less prone to elongation. This is why the Teufelberger-Redaelli Redmont® Dual Core is the right choice, guaranteeing passengers the most comfortable ride possible!
