Seik becomes part of the HTI Group

HTI is already a leader in material transport over challenging terrain, thanks to solutions such as the Flyingbelt – a patented system that combines the advantages of conveyor belts and cable car installations – or products like the so-called Blondin (cable cranes for major infrastructure projects) as well as cable car systems for special applications. Among the most important references are Flyingbelt installations in Barroso (Brazil), on the River Lippe in Germany, in Rogun (Tajikistan), or on the construction site of the Terzo Valico dei Giovi in Genoa. Other important projects in the field of material transport include cable crane systems for the construction of dams in Portugal, Peru, and Turkey, or the recently built apple cableway in Trentino.

Seik’s products ideally complement the portfolio of the HTI Group, enabling the provision of the most comprehensive and complete solution offering worldwide for cable-based material transport: from stationary systems for large payloads to flexible and specific solutions for complex construction sites and extreme environments. This approach has made Seik one of the world’s leading players in the sector within just a few decades, with major international projects such as the Trojena dam in Saudi Arabia.

Seik was founded in 1991 and has redefined material transport with modern cable car installations. From the first patented motorized trolley to installations designed for operation under extreme conditions, the company from Truden has built a reputation for technical expertise, reliability, and continuous innovation.

Following its first major project in India in 2004, Seik pursued a consistent international growth strategy and is now present in 16 countries. Among the most representative developments are the Skydumper with a payload of 40 tonnes and energy recovery, as well as the Skytruck, a traverse crane on cables with a payload of 30 tonnes, used in the construction of dams and bridges. The range also includes cableways with motorized trolleys, cable car systems for mountain huts (Skycargo), winches, air pipelines, and bespoke systems such as SkyX, or the latest portal crane with a payload of 25 tonnes, realized for Honduras, which achieves a working depth of 600 meters. The company is also active in the forestry sector, offering equipment and motorized trolleys with advanced technology (Skytiger).
