Castle Mountain Resort: Retirement GM Dean Parkinson

Dean has been with Castle Mountain Resort since the summer of 2016, first serving as Finance Manager, then Director of Inside Operations, and finally GM, starting in late 2022.

Dean has become well known for his uncanny wit, expansive vocabulary, but also for his financial acumen and exceptional leadership skills. More than that, Dean has shown himself to be a great human, always offering an empathetic ear, a kind word, and taking the time to get to know those around him personally. His heart, tenacity, and experience have made him a great leader for those around him, and well-loved within the broader community. It probably didn’t hurt that he absolutely, positively loves to ski, as well!
