Leitner-Poma of America: Celebrating 50 years of an iconic New York landmark

Leitner-Poma of America was proud to join the Roosevelt Island community, RIOC, elected officials, residents, and partners to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Roosevelt Island Tramway.

As the operator and maintainer of the Tram, we are honored to help keep this unique transportation system moving safely and reliably for more than 3 million riders each year. The celebration was also an opportunity to recognize the dedicated operators, mechanics, attendants, and support staff whose professionalism and commitment make that possible every day.

Congratulations to Roosevelt Island, RIOC, and everyone who has played a role in the Tram's remarkable history. Here's to the next 50 years.
