TechnoAlpin East Europe opens new site in Slovakia
On June 11 and 12, TechnoAlpin East Europe officially inaugurated its new branch in Dolný Hričov, near Žilina. With the new site, TechnoAlpin is strengthening its presence in Central Europe while consolidating key expertise in customer support, production, and technical know-how. Customers in Slovakia, Poland, Czechia, and Hungary will continue to be supported from Slovakia. The first day of the event was dedicated to exchanges with customers from across the region. The focus here was on the panel discussion "The Future of Mountain Resorts: Success Factors for the Future in Central and Eastern Europe" featuring the four ski areas. This was followed by the official opening ceremony and a tour of the new facility. On 12 June, the program was specifically dedicated to snowmakers from the four countries. Presentations on products and services, including the SnowFactory, TechnoAlpin ACADEMY and the subsidiary xelom, provided practical insights into the latest solutions. A tour of the building and a BBQ together rounded out the day. A key feature of the new site is the welding shop, which will be operated as an important welding unit within the TechnoAlpin Group in future. Pipes for pumping stations, ranging in diameter from 25 to 700 millimeters, are manufactured there. The new site will also serve as a SnowFactory competence center for Central Europe. Some 35 SnowFactory machines are already in use. The site also provides ideal conditions for machine demonstrations, tours, and testing. TechnoAlpin ACADEMY has its own premises at the site too. In the future, a range of snow producer models, Hydromats, and valves will be available for training and hands-on instruction within a 50 m² training area. The new branch also brings TechnoAlpin’s training programs in Central Europe even closer to the market. |
