Heavenly Mountain: Local art takes flight on the Heavenly Gondola!

In partnership with Keep Tahoe Blue and Arts and Culture El Dorado, this new Tahoe-inspired art activation brings together community, creativity, and a shared commitment to protecting Lake Tahoe. Designed by Tahoe City-based artist brynmermaidmerrell, the new Gondola cabin wrap features a panoramic landscape stretching from the East Shore to Emerald Bay, while spotlighting the Emerald Bay Shuttle and the role sustainable transportation plays in preserving Lake Tahoe for future generations.

This new activation goes beyond just the artwork. Heavenly is also supporting regional transit solutions through a $100,000 multi-year grant focused on expanding shared transportation options that help reduce traffic, emissions, and lake runoff. Interactive signage and QR codes inside the Gondola cabins will encourage guests to choose shared rides and learn how small transportation choices can make a big impact.
