Terry Peak: The Goldcorp Express is Ready to Roll!

The fall colors at Terry Peak are incredibly vibrant & golden, a perfect golden day to take a test ride on the new Goldcorp Express!

The load test has been completed on the new lift, and everything is in check and ready for the upcoming season.  
To complete the load test the crew had to fill 23 of the 55 chairs to their maximum weight.  They filled about 100 boxes lined with plastic bags, each with 18 inches of water.  Each bag held approximately 210 lb. and with 4 bags on each chair it simulated a full load.  Once loading was complete the crew did a variety of tests, starting and stopping the lift, much like what would occur on a busy day at the slopes.
