Changes at the top at Demaclenko

Andreas Dorfmann, who was CEO of DEMACLENKO from 2012, has decided has decided to step down as managing director after 8 years. As of 1 July, Andreas Lambacher will lead DEMACLENKO together with Philipp Oberhuber and Roland Demetz.

Several milestones have been achieved since the merger of DEMAC and LENKO to DEMACLENKO in 2011. Andreas Dorfmann helped shape and significantly marked the unmistakable identity of DEMACLENKO. Martin Leitner, member of the HTI Group Board and President of DEMACLENKO, addresses the outgoing managing director as follows: “I would like, in the name of the group, to thank him for his tireless dedication, and we are delighted that he will assist the business in the transition phase.” Looking to the future, Leitner continues: “I would like to welcome Andreas Lambacher as a new member of the board, who together with Philipp Oberhuber and Roland Demetz forms the executive board.” Andreas Lambacher comes from South Tyrol/Italy and is not a newcomer to the industry: from 2001 to 2007 he worked as Sales and Marketing Manager at PRINOTH. During his career, Andreas Lambacher has focused on distribution with an international orientation. During many years abroad, he acquired comprehensive international experience, which will now greatly benefit the internationalization of DEMACLENKO.

From the very beginning, the integration into the strong HTI Group and the use of synergies were decisive for the successful development of DEMACLENKO. With the new headquarters in Sterzing, the companies are now also united in one site and the entire know-how is bundled in a competence centre for winter sports technologies.

Together with our well-motivated team, DEMACLENKO will succeed in conquering further market shares and establishing itself with our customers worldwide.

Andreas Dorfmann:
“When I took over the position of CEO at DEMACLENKO in 2012, it was my mission to merge the DEMAC and LENKO companies, to make the company internationally strong and to offer the market a genuine alternative with topnotch products and a highly motivated team. After difficult but highly successful eight years, I can see the fruits of our work in our relocation to the new head office in Vipiteno and may, with great satisfaction, regard my task as fulfilled. I will give the company the best possible support during the transition phase. Thankful for many experiences and encounters I say goodbye, and look forward to returning to my “home mountain”, the Kronplatz ski area. I thank the DEMACLENKO team for their constructive and inexhaustible efforts in recent years, , the HTI Group, Michael Seeber, Anton Seeber and Martin Leitner, and all customers for the trust they have placed in us and wish them and all partners all the best!”

Andreas Lambacher:
“Also after my departure in 2007, I have followed the developments of the HTI Group with great interest. The most impressive is the achievement in the last eight years in the area of snowmaking. Our foundation on successful activities should further mold powerful and high quality solutions as well as our emphasis on automation and digitization. In times of uncertainty and change I would like to continue the focus on innovation and uncompromising customer orientation. I look forward to the new challenge and am convinced that, with the highly motivated DEMACLENKO team, we can move forward successfully on the right path into the future.”
