Over the past 20 years, the ski industry has emerged as a leader in sustainability. Resort operators like you chose to invest in the future of our industry: greening your operations, shifting to renewable energy, responding to the science of climate change, and advocating to your elected officials for the future of our sport, our communities and our planet. NSAA has also evolved its sustainability programming, including a revitalized and focused Sustainable Slopes program designed to help ski areas plan, achieve and celebrate their sustainability goals.
