Sunkid: Tubing as a range expansion

Tubing equals rapid riding fun with a tube on snow or a plastic slope. The low construction costs and year-round use turn this enjoyable leisure experience into an ideal range expansion for mountain railways and skiing schools, theme parks, destinations, and indoor parks alike.

More than ever, many destinations will need to compensate for the last winter season’s loss this summer. Investing in a tubing track is a good option there.

Goldeck – Mein Sportberg

A 114-metre-long tubing track was installed at Sportberg Goldeck in Carinthia, with a starting ramp and three steep turns to make the ride as diverse and action-filled as possible.

Bergbahnen Goldeck gave free rein to their creativity for the tubes, which are designed in a unique comic look.

The uphill ride is handled comfortably with a 108-metres-long moving carpet.
