LEITNER: Successful start for the "Cortina Skyline"

Since december 25, 2021 the new 10-passenger gondola lift, connecting the pistes of the Tofane (Son dei Prade) in Cortina with those of the Cinque Torri (Bai de Dones) ski area, is officially open.

The new installation from LEITNER in the Italian province of Belluno

spans 4.5 kilometers.
consists of 52 cabins.
runs on two sections via a mid station in Cianzopè.
is an essential element in developing tourism around Cortina d'Ampezzo region.
relieves the road connection between Cortina and the Falzarego Pass.
has enormous significance for the 2026 Olympic Games.

By the way: LEITNER has realized another project in Cortina. A 4-seater chairlift with weather protection hoods bubbles from another ski resort was modernized and repositioned at the foot of the imposing Tofane.
