Utah Olympic Park: Grand opening of the new Spencer F. Eccles Olympic Mountain Center!

Utah Olympic Park’s new terrain not only supplements training opportunities at area partner resorts, but also furnishes a home base for local ski teams, provides side-by-side training for developing and elite athletes, and opens opportunities for national and international teams to train and compete on an Olympic-caliber hill. A key initiative funded by the Eccles grant will be to attract and retain more non-traditional participants in alpine and freestyle skiing. With costs of these sport disciplines limiting its participants, the Legacy Foundation will now spearhead efforts to ensure that this barrier to entry is significantly reduced.
