Sandia Peak Tramway: Modernized for the Future

Statement: We’re proud to have been part of Albuquerque’s tourism scene for almost 60 years, offering both locals and visitors from out of state a unique way to experience the mountains and all they have to offer. In the past few months, we have installed a new motor, updated our drive and control systems, and implemented weather technology on both our towers, tram cars, as well as our upper and lower terminals. These changes are an investment in the future of the Sandia Peak Tramway. Thank you for staying updated while we got upgraded. We can’t wait to have you back creating memories with your loved ones.
