Jakob Rope Systems: Ski lift rope Hybrid 5

This summer is coming to an end and our ropemaking team is already thinking about: winter, white snow slopes, small ski lifts. Our ski lift rope Hybrid 5 is at home in this season and wintry environment. Preparations for the winter season are starting right now in many ski resorts. The operators are upgrading their stocks and in many places new ropes are being installed on the ski lifts.

 

Our ropemakers are therefore working on various customer orders for the Hybrid 5 ski lift rope. In the pictures you can see how the handholds are attached to the red ski lift rope. The ski tourists will later use them to hold on to the lift.

 

The Hybrid 5 ski lift rope is one of our newer rope developments for winter sports resorts and ski lift operators.

 

Since winter 2022, Jakob Rope Systems has been selling the ski lift rope with certification (Module H according to the European Cable Car Regulation). This means: certified production in accordance with the EU standard and therefore approved for passenger transport on small ski lifts.
