ICE: The First 3D Printed Cable Car Station in the WorldUpper Station of the Cable Car with Restaurant The cable car building uses the possibilities of 3DCP technology, according to the conceptual design of ATELIER3M, the project was developed into a 3D model. The thesis of the object is a "stone" that rests freely in the landscape. Programmatically, the building is divided into a part for the cable car service and an elongated part is designed as a day room. The dynamic mass of the cable car articulates the function of the building and thanks to its modelling it interacts well with the landscape. Absolute Flexibility of 3D Concrete Printing Project combines the advantages of prefabricated parts in the production hall and on-site production. The whole building is printed by one machine. The structure consists of 3D printed walls that integrate thermal insulation, interior elements and exterior design. For the external articulation we work with two stone structures, the lower cantilever is more water and air plastered, the upper one is more rock-like. The building is covered with a green roof, the aluminium windows are fixed with ventilation slits. A terraced landscape is created around the building to allow for relaxation around the building.
