Kyrgyzstan: "Ala-Too Resort" construction started

The ski resort to be built on the peaks of Jyrgalan, Ak-Bulak, and Boz-Uchuk in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region has been named "Ala-Too Resort".

Construction work on the resort's infrastructure has already begun.

The entire infrastructure will be fully built at the expense of the state.

The first cable car at the Jyrgalan site will be completed in July next year.

Thus, in November–December 2026, the first phase (Jyrgalan), including the ski slopes, will be put into operation.

The second phase (Ak-Bulak) will be completed in 2027, and the third phase (Boz-Uchuk) will be completed in 2028. After that, the slopes of all three mountains will be connected, and the resort will begin operating at full capacity.

The total length of the slopes at "Ala-Too Resort" will be 250 kilometers.
